Enterprise Software Development Engineer for Cloud Identity Solutions

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Software Development Engineer to join our SaaS Connectors team, focusing on enhancing and managing connectors to SaaS applications such as Workday, Salesforce, GCP, and AWS. The ideal candidate will work closely with our Lifecycle Management team, providing a platform for automating Joiner, Mover, Leaver processes, and designing solutions to match application features and scale.

This role involves working with senior engineering teams on major development projects, designing and implementing new features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand application protocols and build connectors. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing requirements with Product Management, quick prototyping to validate scale and performance, and conducting code reviews, analysis, and performance tuning.

As an Enterprise Software Development Engineer at Okta, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Design and implement scalable and reliable software systems
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
  • Contribute to the development of our SaaS Connectors platform
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 3+ years of experience building software systems in Java, preferably with significant experience with SCIM and Spring Boot
  • 3+ years of development experience building services, internal tools, and frameworks
  • 2+ years of experience automating and deploying large-scale production services in AWS, GCP, or similar
  • Deep understanding of infrastructure-level technologies: caching, stream processing, resilient architectures
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and SOAP APIs
  • Ability to work effectively with distributed teams and people of various backgrounds

We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $180,000 per year, based on your level of experience and qualifications.
