Lead QA Automation Expert

Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Lead QA Automation Specialist to spearhead the development and implementation of comprehensive test automation strategies, scalable frameworks, and industry best practices for delivering high-quality digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement robust QA automation plans for application components, APIs, and integrations.
  • Create and maintain efficient automation frameworks using Selenium and Cypress.
  • Design, execute, and optimize end-to-end UI and API automation test scripts.
  • Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
  • Implement cross-browser testing, mobile testing, and visual validation.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to enhance quality processes.
  • Establish QA metrics, reporting, and test dashboards.
  • Implement test automation in Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
  • Automate content validation and workflows.
  • Promote shift-left testing by integrating automation early in the development cycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in QA automation with Selenium and Cypress.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python for automation scripting.
  • Experience in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
  • Hands-on experience testing modern web applications and platforms.
  • Familiarity with content validation, component testing, and security testing.
  • Experience in integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based testing solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6.
