Job Overview

The Head of Quality Assurance is a critical leadership role responsible for the overall quality of applications, data, and development processes.

This individual will oversee and refine our software QA practices, define and report on key quality metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all system data and application features meet the highest standards.

The Head of QA will lead a team of QA Engineers focused on developing test cases and automating QA workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with business and engineering objectives.
  • Establish quality standards, KPIs, and metrics to measure and improve product quality.
  • Process & Methodology: Design and maintain robust QA processes including test planning, execution, automation, and reporting.
  • Champion Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices to integrate QA seamlessly into the development lifecycle.
  • Automation & Tools: Drive the adoption of test automation frameworks and tools to enhance efficiency and coverage.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 10 years of QA experience.
  • Strong experience with application, data, and API testing.
  • Good understanding of web-based technology architecture and data structure.
  • Strong database skills (SQL).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
