Job Description

This role involves analyzing business processes and identifying areas for improvement to design systems that address these needs.

The Business Systems Analyst works closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, document specifications, and ensure that implemented technology solutions align with business strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analysis and evaluation of business processes and systems
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to streamline processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope
  • Create technical specifications and design documents for system enhancements

System Implementation and Integration:

  • Lead the implementation of new systems or system upgrades
  • Coordinate with IT and external vendors to ensure smooth integration of systems
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure proper functionality and user acceptance

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain data management processes and procedures
  • Monitor data quality and integrity to ensure accurate reporting
  • Create and run reports to provide insights and support decision making

Project Management:

  • Plan and manage projects related to system enhancements or implementations
  • Develop project timelines, milestones, and budgets

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field with at least 5 years experience
  • Proficiency in data analysis and modeling tools such as SQL, Excel
  • Understanding of business process reengineering and requirements gathering techniques
  • Experience with ERP systems, CRM software, or other business management platforms
