Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Senior Azure SQL Developer. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in data engineering and strong foundation in SQL development, including experience with SSIS or Azure Data Factory (ADF). This position will involve building, optimizing, and maintaining robust data solutions to support business operations and analytics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support data processing and reporting. Additionally, they will design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS or Azure Data Factory (ADF).

  • T-SQL Development: Develop and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support data processing and reporting.
  • ETL/ELT Pipeline Design: Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS or Azure Data Factory (ADF).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize data workflows between on-premise systems and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Ensure high performance, availability, and reliability of data solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable data pipelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in SQL Server development (T-SQL, indexing, query optimization).
  • Hands-on experience with SSIS and/or Azure Data Factory (ADF) for building data pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of relational database concepts, data quality, and error handling.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to Azure Synapse Analytics or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, or Agile methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in the software industry.
  • B.Tech/M.Tech in CS/IT, or related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
