Cinematography Instructor

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the art of motion picture photography.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver courses that cover cinematography techniques for various media formats.
• Develop and revise course materials, such as syllabi, assignments, and exercises to ensure student engagement.
• Evaluate student work, provide constructive feedback, and assess learning outcomes.
• Mentor students on their film projects, guiding them towards industry-standard practices.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and other academic administrative activities.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in cinematography.
• Collaborate with colleagues and industry professionals to enhance student learning and foster relationships within the entertainment industry.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Degree from a recognized University.
• Master's Degree/PG Diploma in Cinematography from a recognized University or Institution of repute.
• A minimum of ten years' post-qualification professional experience and/or teaching experience in the field of Cinematography in an Organization or Institution of repute.

Desirable Qualities:

• Administrative/Managerial experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Indian and International Cinema/TV/OTT.
• Evidence of professional works done.
