Job Title: Network Specialist

About the Role

This is a rotational shift position that requires working 5 days a week with 2 days off.

The shift timings are from 7am to 4pm, 1pm to 10pm, and 10:30pm to 7:30am.

Responsibilities
  • Handle second-level support and service requests
  • Provide top-level support for network issues
  • Implement new networks and troubleshoot outages for local and remote networks
  • Support workstations, servers, printers, and Office applications
Key Skills and Technologies
  • Technical support for networking (WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, wireless, security)
  • Remote access solution implementation and support (IPSEC VPN)
  • Understanding of DNS/DHCP
  • Ability to work with vendor support to resolve client issues
  • Experience with Command Line Interfaces to manage computer equipment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education or training
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience as a network engineer
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Applications

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, advanced troubleshooting skills, and experience installing/configuring routers, switches, VPNs, and firewalls (Cisco, Sophos, Palo Alto).

A certification track such as Security+, Network+, CCNA, or JNCIA would be an advantage.
