Dairy Operations Lead

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced dairy operations professional to lead the establishment, commissioning, and smooth running of a dairy processing center.

This is a full-time position requiring deep expertise in dairy industry operations, plant setup, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day management of milk procurement, processing, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies for setting up the new dairy processing center from plant design to commissioning.
  • Define and implement SOPs for milk procurement, chilling, pasteurization, homogenization, packaging, and quality assurance.
  • Oversee equipment selection, installation, and process optimization in coordination with technical teams and vendors.
  • Establish supply chain and distribution processes for efficient milk and dairy product delivery.
  • Train and mentor staff on best practices in dairy plant operations.
  • Provide expertise in ERP integration for procurement, processing, sales, and finance modules.
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor plant efficiency, yield, and quality.
  • Advise management on new product development and diversification opportunities.
  • Act as a bridge between management, technical consultants, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
