Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Lubrizol Technology Operational Excellence team in India. In this role, you will support Lubrizol Technology's Operational Excellence data visualization and reporting to enable data-based projects and decisions.

The Technology Business Data Analyst plays a crucial role in creating, analyzing, and continuously improving dashboards and reports to support the global Technology organization's information and data management needs. They will work closely with stakeholders, data users, and technology teams to gather requirements, assess data, and implement effective visualization or reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to analyze Technology performance, portfolio trends, and additional metrics.
  • Collaborate with Operational Excellence or Technology team stakeholders to understand their objectives and select the best reporting tools for data visualization solutions.
  • Translate data into useful data visualizations that drive data-driven business decisions.
  • Extract and structure data from SAP systems, ensure data accuracy and integrity, generate visualization and reports.
  • Collaborate with other Analysts using similar tools from across the organization to share best practices and drive Operational Excellence across Lubrizol.
  • Pursue self-development/training opportunities to remain current with emerging low-code/no-code business application technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years of industry experience with proven experience as a Business or Data Analyst, or similar role, with a strong understanding of data visualization and reporting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (PowerBI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, etc.) or other low-code/no-code platform.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in SAP data mining tools.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL or Python.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data systems or processes and propose effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills needed to work with cross-functional teams.
  • An aptitude and interest for creating data and process insights that drive data-driven decisions.
  • An aptitude and interest to improve organizational efficiency through process automation.
