This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality software through automated testing and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts using Python.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and create robust, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests.
- Perform API testing and validate backend services using Python-based tools.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
- Work in Agile/Scrum environments, participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Ensure high test coverage and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation infrastructure.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6-12 years of total experience in Software QA, with at least 4 years of strong hands-on automation experience in Python.
- Strong understanding of software development processes, testing life cycle, and test methodologies.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks like PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium (with Python).
- Solid experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, Requests library, REST Assured).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
