Protect Our Systems and Networks

We are seeking a proactive Cybersecurity Engineer to safeguard our systems, networks, and data against internal and external threats. This individual will be responsible for implementing and managing security tools and infrastructure to protect against cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement Security Measures: Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.
  • Monitor Systems: Continuously monitor our systems and networks for potential security breaches and investigate any violations promptly.
  • Conduct Vulnerability Assessments: Perform regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
  • Respond to Security Incidents: Respond quickly and effectively to security incidents and lead incident response activities, including root cause analysis and remediation.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that our systems, applications, and network configurations comply with internal security policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Cybersecurity Expertise: A solid understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, proxies, and endpoint protection.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk), vulnerability scanners, and forensic tools.
  • Scripting and Automation: Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Network and Web-Related Protocols: A strong understanding of network and web-related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS).
