API Integration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled API Integration Specialist to develop and implement seamless integrations between our systems and those of our partners.

About the Role:

  • You will design, develop, and test APIs to meet business requirements and user needs.
  • You will create API specifications that serve as contracts for development.
  • You will develop new API features and functionality based on provided specifications.
  • You will test APIs after development to ensure they function as intended.
  • You will document software development processes and procedures for future projects.
  • You will practice and advocate API-Led Connectivity.
  • You will create and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Maven and GitHub Actions.
  • You will collaborate cross-functionally to identify integration challenges.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience and technical expertise.
  • Familiarity with common data formats (XML, JSON), protocols (HTTP(S), (S)FTP), Web services / APIs (REST, SOAP, RPC), and authentication (OAuth).
  • Knowledge of API Specifications (RAML and/or OAS).
  • Ability to support clients with technical issues and verify their integration against original designs.
  • Understanding of system development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.
  • Fluency in English and ability to thrive in an international environment.
  • Experience as a full stack developer is considered a plus.
