SAP Financial Accounting Lead

A leading opportunity for a seasoned professional to oversee the implementation and support of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) solutions in the retail industry.

As a key team member, you will be responsible for designing, customizing, configuring, and testing SAP FI, as well as managing maintenance, support, and enhancements to ensure seamless financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and support SAP FI solutions across the retail sector
  • Design and customize SAP FI to meet business requirements
  • Manage technical updates and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with clients to enhance their financial processes and resolve problems effectively
  • Drive projects towards successful completion within timeframes, adhering to service level agreements and utilizing resources efficiently
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Commerce, MBA, CA, CFA, or ICWA
  • Total 14+ years of experience in finance and accounting
  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP FI implementation and support
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP configuration and financial processes, including FI and REFX
  • Minimum 5 years of domain experience in retail, CPG, or FMCG industries
  • Successful completion of at least one end-to-end SAP FI implementation
  • Expertise in business processes and best practices surrounding bookkeeping, accounts, financial statements, closure of books, depreciation, assets, Indian Accounting Standards, management, treasury, GAAP, IFRS, SOX, and indirect taxes
