Job Title:

Backend Software Engineer - Architecture and Integration

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and building scalable data architectures, developing and maintaining APIs and backend systems, and integrating with various third-party systems.

  • Design and build scalable data architectures that integrate disparate data sources.
  • Develop and maintain APIs and backend systems for our frontend clients.
  • Integrate with various third-party systems, including payment systems, identity providers, and messaging platforms.
  • Help build new financial products and scale our backend services to ever-growing levels of traffic and complexity.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong experience (3-8 years) of building backend software for web-based or mobile products.
  • Experience leveraging modern AI tools for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strong knowledge of software development fundamentals, including relevant background in computer science fundamentals, distributed systems, data storage, and agile development methodologies.
  • Pragmatic and combine a strong understanding of technology and product needs to arrive at the best solution for a given problem.
  • Highly entrepreneurial and thrive in taking ownership of your own impact.
  • Excellent collaborator & communicator.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language like Python.
