Murex Tester Role

Job Summary:

We seek a seasoned Murex professional to lead the design and development of automated test scripts for various modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and implement automated test frameworks to ensure high-quality system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and validate system behavior.
  • Design, develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure full coverage of all software functionalities.
  • Implement automation best practices to enhance reusability, maintainability and scalability of test scripts.
  • Track defects, log and retest in coordination with development teams.
  • Participate in test planning, test case design and execution cycles.
  • Ensure compliance with testing standards and methodologies.
  • Provide regular status updates and progress reports.

Required Skills:

  • At least 6+ years of overall experience in Murex testing and automation.
  • Hands-on experience in scripting languages (Java, Python or similar) and Murex tools.
  • Strong understanding of Murex architecture, workflows and data processing.
  • Proficiency in SQL and ability to write complex queries for data validation.
  • Experience with test management tools (JIRA, ALM or similar).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control systems.
