Senior Data Analyst Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our data analytics group, you will play a critical role in driving business growth through data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and interpretation, with expertise in SQL and relational database concepts. Experience with JSON and REST API integration is also highly desirable.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and optimizing complex SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Working extensively with JSON data formats for integration and processing.
  • Designing and implementing payloads/API calls to facilitate seamless data exchange between services/systems.
  • Analyzing and interpreting data to generate actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Reviewing and understanding legacy system code to ensure smooth integration and migration processes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Hands-on experience with JSON and REST API integration.
  • Ability to read and understand legacy code.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipeline development is a plus.
Preferred Skills

While not required, the following skills would be beneficial:

  • Knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages for data manipulation.
  • Familiarity with BI reporting and open-source charting libraries.
