Lead Data Engineer

We're seeking an experienced data engineering professional to spearhead our analytics team's growth and development.

  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in log-level data handling, cross-platform data engineering, and proficiency in modern business intelligence tools.

This role offers the opportunity to build scalable data pipelines, drive analytics strategy, and mentor junior analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and mentor a team of data analysts to ensure quality delivery and technical upskilling.
  2. Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub.
  3. Ingest and process log-level data from various platforms, including Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics (GA4/UA), DV360, and other advertising and marketing tech sources.
  4. Build and optimize data pipelines from diverse sources via APIs, cloud connectors, and third-party tools.
  5. Integrate and manage data across multiple cloud platforms and data warehouses, such as BigQuery, Snowflake, DOMO, and AWS (Redshift, S3).
  6. Create and maintain intuitive dashboards using Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  7. Collaborate with engineering, product, revenue operations, and client teams to gather requirements and drive strategic insights from data.
  8. Ensure data governance, security, and quality standards are followed across the analytics ecosystem.
