About the Role
This position leads the planning, development and execution of category strategies for a leading home improvement company.
The primary objective is to develop short to mid-term strategies for overall category plans, working with internal business partners to align sourcing initiatives with business goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops category strategies, goals and KPIs to optimize spend, reduce risk and improve supplier performance.
- Builds and maintains key relationships with internal stakeholders, legal and finance teams.
- Directs sourcing resources to execute against category plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Influences business partner strategy through market intelligence and data insights.
- Leverages industry expertise to drive sourcing impact and maximize value to the business.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in sourcing or IT category management.
- 7+ years of sourcing experience.
