Cloud Network Engineer Job Description

Your Career:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Network engineer to join our fast-paced, high-growth organization.
  • This role requires expertise in Cloud Network & routing technologies.

Purpose of the Role:

To design, implement and maintain cloud network architectures, configuring and managing cloud network components, troubleshooting network issues and implementing solutions, building/maturing observability for cloud networks deployments, and providing technical expertise and guidance to other IT staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud network architectures.
  • Configure and manage cloud network components.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions.
  • Build / mature observability for cloud networks deployments.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to other IT staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent military experience required.
  • 9-15 years of relevant work experience.

Technical Requirements:

  • Strong experience with one or more major cloud providers: AWS (VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, etc.), Azure (VNet, NSG, ExpressRoute, etc.), GCP (VPC, Cloud Interconnect, etc.).
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud networking and VPN/IPSec tunneling.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and firewalls.
  • Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools.
