Seeking an experienced Backend Systems Developer with 8-10 years of expertise in designing and building scalable backend systems.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Node.js (NestJS framework preferred) and TypeScript, with strong experience in GraphQL API design and implementation.

This role requires architectural expertise across monolithic and microservices-based systems, proficiency in PostgreSQL, and hands-on experience with Azure cloud architecture, including Container Apps.

The engineer will also work on Azure OpenAI integrations, OCR pipelines, and event-driven real-time systems such as WebSocket connections.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining backend applications using Node.js (NestJS) and TypeScript.
  • Designing and implementing GraphQL APIs and multiple system integrations.
  • Architecting, optimizing, and scaling backend systems on Azure Container Apps.
  • Implementing Azure OpenAI integrations and OCR pipelines.
  • Working on both monolithic and microservices-based architectures.
  • Designing and integrating event-driven, real-time systems with WebSocket connections.
  • Ensuring 90-95% unit test coverage for all code developed.
  • Conducting performance tuning, scalability improvements, and debugging.
  • Collaborating with teams to deliver robust, secure, and enterprise-level solutions.

The required skills and qualifications include:

  • 8-10 years of backend engineering experience.
  • Strong expertise in Node.js (NestJS framework preferred).
  • Proficiency in TypeScript with a focus on scalable architecture.
  • Hands-on experience in GraphQL API design, implementation, and integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Azure cloud (Container Apps, scaling, performance tuning).
  • Experience with Azure OpenAI integrations and OCR pipelines.
  • Proven background in monolithic and microservices architectures.
  • Experience with event-driven systems, real-time processing, and WebSockets.
  • Ability to deliver maintainable code with 90-95% unit test coverage.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
