Senior Finance Functional Consultant

Oracle Fusion Financials is a comprehensive financial management solution that empowers organizations to streamline their financial processes and make informed business decisions. As a Senior Finance Functional Consultant, you will play a key role in implementing and configuring Oracle Fusion Financials modules across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead or support the end-to-end implementation of Oracle Fusion Financials modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management, Subledger Accounting (SLA), and Fusion Tax.
  • Configure financial modules based on client requirements using Oracle best practices.
Functional Consulting:
  • Conduct requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
  • Perform fit-gap analysis and design functional solutions.
  • Prepare functional specifications for reports, extensions, and integrations.
Testing & Deployment:
  • Develop and execute test scripts for CRP, SIT, and UAT phases.
  • Support production cutover and post-go-live stabilization.
Data Migration & Integration:
  • Define and oversee financial data migration strategies.
  • Collaborate with technical teams for integrations using FBDI, Web Services, and OTBI.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years in Oracle ERP Financials, with 2–3 years in Fusion Cloud.
  • Minimum one full-cycle Fusion Financials implementation.
  • Experience in industries like manufacturing, retail, banking, or public sector.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Hands-on experience with Fusion Spreadsheet Loader, FBDI, OTBI, and Financial Reporting Studio.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Application Composer and workflow configurations.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication and client-handling skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in global delivery models.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or IT.
  • Professional certifications like Oracle Cloud Financials, CA, CMA, or MBA Finance.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts and travel onsite if required.
