Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in software development using Python and C++ and excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL. They will be responsible for designing and developing interactive applications, documenting requirements and specifications, and participating in educational opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
  • Develop documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
  • Determine and design system specifications, standards, and programming
  • Conduct systems analysis; recommend changes in policies and procedures
  • Obtain and license software by obtaining required information from vendors; recommend purchases; test and approve products
  • Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment
  • Participate in educational opportunities & read professional publications;
  • Protect operations by keeping information confidential
  • Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues
  • Achieve engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed
  • Develop software solutions by studying information needs; confer with users; study systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigate problem areas; follow the software development lifecycle

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent

Skill Sets:

  • Hands-on experience in software development using Python and C++
  • Experience designing interactive applications
  • Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL
  • Experience with test-driven development
  • Proficiency in software engineering tools
  • Ability to document requirements and specifications
