Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Test Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.

About the Role

The Test Architect will lead testing efforts, utilizing expertise in Python, Pytest framework, Selenium, API testing, Appium, test architecture, and Agile methodologies. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing end-to-end testing strategies for complex software systems.
  • Designing and executing automation tests using Python and Pytest framework to validate software functionality.
  • Leading API testing initiatives to ensure seamless integration and functionality of backend services.
  • Utilizing Selenium for web application testing to identify and address potential issues.
  • Conducting mobile testing using Appium to enhance product performance on diverse platforms.
  • Defining and establishing test architecture guidelines and best practices for the team to follow.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with Agile testing methodologies.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to enhance overall testing capabilities.
  • Continuously evaluating and implementing new tools and technologies to optimize testing processes.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience of 10-15 years in software testing with expertise in Python, Pytest framework, Selenium, API testing, and Appium.
  • Strong knowledge of test architecture design and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile environments and implementing Agile testing practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Certification in testing tools and methodologies would be a plus.
