Job Overview:

Senior Testers play a pivotal role in the software development lifecycle by ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. This position contributes to the company's growth by utilizing real-time experience in testing and collaboration with developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute test cases, report bugs, and collaborate with developers
  • Manual testing experience of 5+ years
  • Testing RESTful Web services API automation using REST Assured (desired)
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins, Maven, CICD Tools
  • Cloud-hosted application testing and customer-facing applications
  • Payments industry experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Creating test automation for APIs, single or multiple microservices
  • Building test scripts for test automation frameworks
  • Thorough understanding of SDLC
  • Excellent technical skills including SQL and troubleshooting abilities
  • Nodes/JavaScript experience or other relevant languages
  • Extensive API test experience
  • Apply quality management principles and practices to work with users, testers, developers, and stakeholders
  • Defect resolution and burn-down across related parties
  • Adept at removing blocking issues to ensure progress and velocity needs are met
  • Manage functional and technical backlogs effectively

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years' experience as a manual tester or equivalent experience in test automation
  • Expertise in creating test cases, executing tests, reporting bugs, and collaborating with developers
  • Experience with testing Cloud-hosted applications and customer-facing applications
