Job Description

As an Information Technology Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining our IT systems, supporting end-users, and ensuring smooth IT operations.

This role is ideal for candidates with 2 to 3 years of experience in IT administration. You will assist in maintaining our IT infrastructure, providing first-level technical support to employees, and troubleshooting basic IT problems related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • IT Support: Provide first-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • System Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance of computers, servers, and networking equipment.
  • Software Installation: Assist in installing and updating software across our systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve basic IT problems related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Data Backup: Ensure regular data backups and contribute to our data security efforts.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, issues, and resolutions in a ticketing or documentation system.
  • Network Support: Assist in monitoring and maintaining our local area network (LAN) and internet connectivity.
  • Security Monitoring: Support basic IT security tasks, such as ensuring antivirus updates and security patches are applied.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: BSc degree required.
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in IT support or administration.
  • Skills:
  • Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Network concepts (e.g., IP addresses, DNS, routers, switches).
  • Hardware components (e.g., computers, printers, servers).
  • Office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with non-technical staff.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
