Databricks Administrator Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our Databricks environment.

  • At least 7 years of experience as a Databricks Administrator or in a similar capacity.
  • A deep understanding of cloud computing platforms, including Azure/AWS Databricks.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks clusters, notebooks, libraries, and job scheduling.
  • Expertise in Spark optimization, data caching, and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or SQL for data processing.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git, DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot Databricks-related issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Databricks certifications (Associate/Professional levels) are highly desirable.
  • Experience with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and MLflow is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with containerized workloads, Kubernetes, Docker, and big data ecosystems like Hadoop, Apache Airflow, Kafka, etc., is preferred.
