Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior ASIC Physical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design engineering group, you will be responsible for the physical design and verification of advanced digital ICs.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement physical design flows using Cadence or Synopsys or Magma tools
  • Collaborate with front-end ASIC teams to resolve issues and ensure timely project delivery
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
  • Interface with different teams to prioritize work based on project needs

Requirements:

  • 7-12 years of experience in ASIC physical design
  • Strong background in floor planning, P&R, extraction, IR Drop Analysis, Timing and Signal Integrity closure
  • Extensive experience with Cadence or Synopsys or Magma tools
  • Expertise in scripting languages such as PERL, TCL
  • Static Timing Analysis in Primetime or Primetime-SI
  • Good written and oral communication skills
