About This Role

Candidates should be based in Mumbai and comfortable working in a hybrid mode from Thane.

This position is for a Senior Software Ruby Rails Engineer who will be responsible for low-level design, implementation, and delivery of solutions for our client's product. You will work closely with the Technical Architect, Product Design Team, Quality Assurance, and other Software Engineers to build amazing features for our client's strategic program management solution.

  • Responsibilities:
  • • Low-level design, implementation, and unit testing of new features within the product according to defined requirements within agreed timeframes.

You will ensure that code developed adheres to performance requirements of a SaaS product. Also, you will be responsible for building front-end software using React/Javascript according to visual designs provided by the UX team. The implementation of corresponding backend model software using Ruby on Rails is another key task. Additionally, maintenance of existing client application including fast resolution of customer-raised issues within the software is required. Writing of unit tests to ensure that Ruby on Rails code within our infrastructure is of high quality is also essential. Collaboration effectively with product design teams, QA, and other stakeholders within the business to understand user needs, ensuring best customer solutions is necessary. Furthermore, estimation, self-planning, and self-managing tasks as a developer within an Agile team is required. Technical documentation of process and software changes when necessary is also needed. Lastly, protecting confidential data and ensuring that information security protocols are followed is mandatory.
