Senior Backend Software Engineer

We're on the hunt for an experienced Back End Developer with expertise in Golang and experience in Ruby to help us craft and scale high-performance backend systems.
As a valued member of our engineering team, you'll collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver impactful features.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Golang
- Ruby or Ruby on Rails experience is highly regarded.
- Contribute to the architecture and evolution of our service-oriented / microservices backend.
- Write clean, testable, and efficient code with a strong emphasis on quality.
Responsibilities:
Key Tasks- Develop robust backend systems that meet business needs.
- Improve performance, monitoring, and observability of backend services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on reliability and root-cause analysis.
Qualifications:
You Should Have:- 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in high-scale backend systems.
- Strong proficiency in Golang is essential with Ruby or Ruby on Rails experience .
- Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals — algorithms, data structures, and system design.
- Proven experience building and scaling distributed systems, APIs, or backend platforms in a production environment.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, monitoring tools, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building high-quality software.
