Job Title: Microsoft Purview Consultant

We are looking for an experienced professional to drive the design, implementation and adoption of advanced data governance solutions across enterprise environments.

This role focuses on enabling strong data security, compliance and risk management within cloud ecosystems.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, able to lead projects end-to-end and bridge the gap between regulatory requirements and technical execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Governance Specialist
  • Develop and implement data classification, labeling and protection policies across cloud-native environments.
  • Configure and manage DLP, insider risk management, records management and eDiscovery in Purview.
  • Integrate Purview with cloud-based security and identity platforms for comprehensive compliance enforcement.
  • Assess current data estate, identify compliance gaps and propose remediation strategies.
  • Support data cataloging, lineage tracking and metadata management to strengthen governance.
  • Collaborate with security, compliance and business teams to ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and deliver technical documentation, training and adoption workshops.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Purview and its integrations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5–7 years of experience in cloud security and compliance or data governance.
  • Strong expertise with Microsoft Purview, including Compliance Manager, DLP, Information Protection and Insider Risk.
  • Proven track record with sensitivity labels, retention policies and data classification frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security and compliance capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Azure services, Entra ID and SharePoint Online.
  • Solid knowledge of regulatory frameworks and ability to map them into technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
