Expert Automation Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled automation professional to lead our efforts in developing and implementing automation solutions using Python and Ansible.

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying automation frameworks using Python and Ansible.
  • They will be responsible for developing in-depth knowledge of Frontend and Backend development and integration, as well as managing Incident/Change/Problem management in mission-critical BSFI environments.
  • The selected candidate will possess expertise in Fiber Channel SAN technologies, including VMAX, VNX, HP 3par, Cisco, and Brocade, and will be able to manage all kinds of incidents and refresh related work in FC technologies.
  • They will also have expert knowledge in managing SRDF and array-based replications, planning and executing fabric refresh in both Cisco and Brocade, building new arrays and fabric switches from scratch, setting up host-based ACLs, and managing migrations.
  • In addition, the candidate will be responsible for decommissioning process of all SAN technologies, performing patch/code installations and upgrades, managing Isilon and CDOT file storage, planning and implementing NAS migration at large scale, and supporting Broadcom Brocade G620, G720, 7840 – department class and Gen 6 and Gen 7 – director class switches.
  • The ideal candidate will also have advanced knowledge of Performance and Capacity management for Block and File storage, knowledge of IP based Block storage - Solidfire, ScaleIO, Powerflex, and basic UNIX management skills.
  • Software development experience in a general purpose programming language like Python, Java, C, C++, Go or Shell scripting is required, along with strong organizational, prioritization, and interpersonal skills, excellent debugging and trouble shooting skills, and the ability to analyze and resolve project-related issues and follow through with objectives.
