Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Loan Operations Specialist to join our organization.

The ideal candidate will work closely with clients, ensuring we meet applicable Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze commercial loan documentation to identify key terms and requirements.
  • Enter loan details into the system of record, including borrower entities, guarantor entities, rate, repayment, accrual, collateral, etc.
  • Understand and interpret complex loan structures and documentation, including large syndicated transactions.
  • Translate key terms from commercial loan documentation into the system of record.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients on all servicing-related activities for the portfolio.
  • Monitor and perform system input as needed for timely administration of rate options, borrowing base adjustments, reduction to revolver schedules, and facility utilization changes.
  • Collaborate with agent banks to balance and resolve any issues within the portfolio.
  • Process daily research and maintenance requests from lending officers and clients, performing necessary analysis and system input.
  • Review and balance daily reconciliation reports for general ledger activity tied to loan servicing.
  • Resolve daily exception reports, determining necessary monetary and system maintenance required for resolution.
  • Analyze loan documentation and respond to client inquiries regarding loan balance, rate information, loan statement questions, advance and payment inquiries.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance procedures.
