Interior Design Associate Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Interior Design Associate to join our team. As an Interior Design Associate, you will be responsible for assisting the Senior Designer in various aspects of interior design projects.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Shadow Design Discussions: You will accompany the Senior Designer during meetings with clients to gain insights into their design preferences and needs.
  2. Prepare Minutes of Meetings: After each meeting, you will prepare detailed minutes to ensure that all project milestones are tracked and deadlines are met.
  3. Assist in 3D Designs: Using SpaceCraft and Sketchup, you will assist the Senior Designer in creating high-quality 3D designs and provide recommendations for enhancements.
  4. Coordinate Site Visits: You will work closely with the Senior Designer to plan and execute site visits, ensuring a smooth delivery of the project.
  5. File Management: You will be responsible for managing files across HomeLane tech systems, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among team members.
  6. Commercial Proposal Creation: You will assist the Senior Designer in creating commercial proposals using SpaceCraft and other quoting tools, validating quotes to ensure transparency and fairness for customers.
Mandatory Qualifications:
  1. Design Education Background: A degree in architecture, design, or a related field is required.
  2. Experience: 0-1 year of experience in interior design/architecture is preferred.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential for this role.
  4. Modular Furniture Knowledge: Basic knowledge of modular furniture is necessary.
  5. SketchUp Skills: Practical knowledge of SketchUp is required.
  6. Attitude: A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
