IT Infrastructure Manager

The Krones Group seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead the development and management of our global IT infrastructure. This key role requires a strong background in computer science, with at least 7+ years of experience as an IT Manager in an international business environment.

  • Key responsibilities include operating, monitoring, and developing SAP S4/HANA systems, defining IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes, rolling out global IT initiatives, managing purchasing and installation processes, and ensuring operational performance, availability, security, and continuity of local IT infrastructure.
  • The successful candidate will have expertise in hardware and software systems, information analysis, and technical management skills, as well as experience working in factory settings and leading large IT projects.
  • This is a critical role that requires adaptability, integration skills, and strong communication abilities to serve as a liaison between subsidiary business units and group business units and technical IT teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 7+ years of experience as an IT Manager in an international business environment
  • Strong technical management skills, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems expertise
  • Experience working in factory settings and leading large IT projects

Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage Disaster Recovery (DR) plans and Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
  • Manage IT-related incidents, service requests, and changes
  • Provide guidance and support to IT Support specialists
  • Act as a local IT Security Manager by completing system audits and assessments, building awareness around information technology security and protection, and implementing IT risk mitigation measures
