Vulnerability Management is a cornerstone of any organization's cybersecurity strategy. As an IT Security Specialist in this role, you will play a pivotal part in identifying, analyzing, and remediating vulnerabilities across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute regular vulnerability scans using cutting-edge tools to identify potential threats and stay ahead of the curve.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to coordinate remediation efforts and ensure timely resolution of high-risk findings.
  • Track and report on remediation progress and escalate critical issues to senior stakeholders as needed for informed decision-making.
  • Maintain vulnerability dashboards and prepare regulatory compliance reports to demonstrate adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior teams, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within the organization.
  • Engage with Security Operations and L3 teams for critical issue resolution and contribute to the development of security hardening guidelines and vulnerability baselines.

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in IT security or vulnerability management, with a strong background in cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with CVE/CVSS scoring systems and threat prioritization to effectively assess and mitigate risks.
  • Proficiency in generating and maintaining dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision making.
