The Senior Security Consultant/Engineer will focus on designing and delivering Next-Generation solutions for our customers. This individual will serve as an integral member of a professional services team, responsible for the design and implementation of cutting-edge technologies.

  • Create custom security policies and application signatures for unique client environments.
  • Consult and guide customers on security best practices methodologies and act as a trusted advisor for clients.
  • Analyze logs and events from the solution and supply threat analysis reports, providing input and direction as applicable.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and diagnose cases as escalations arise.
  • Maintain implemented solutions and provide mentorship on code upgrades, changes to the platform, and new technology developments.
  • Work with sales account teams to help formulate technical strategies to address customer business needs.
  • Support direct managers in managing business needs through regular reports and quarterly business reviews.
Responsibilities

Travel requirements include 25-50% for customer meetings and onsite deployments of customer engagements.

  • Conduct research on new features and technologies to optimize value delivery to customers.
  • Meet with customer teams to design and thoroughly document complete projects.
  • Provide knowledge transfer of next-generation technologies to customers and other technical teams for long-term engagements.
  • Ensure successful completion of large-scale customer projects.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in document creation is necessary.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience with firewall and IDS/IPS solutions in large environments is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the installation, configuration, and operation of security products is necessary.
  • Extensive knowledge of various security threats is mandatory.
  • A strong understanding of internet protocols and applications is required.
  • Demonstrated project leadership skills and the ability to conduct design meetings are essential.
  • Candidates should possess a minimum of 10 years of industry experience.
  • Candidates should hold the latest industry-leading cybersecurity certifications.
