Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Associate Corporate Finance. In this role, you will be responsible for executing sell-side and buy-side M&A projects, financing and fundraising.

You will assist with targeting and approaching new clients to identify potential business opportunities. Your significant involvement in the creation of pitch documents, pricing/valuation papers, marketing materials, management presentations, and transaction structuring will be crucial to our success.

Additionally, you will assist the project lead in the daily execution of all aspects of M&A projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execution of sell-side and buy-side M&A projects
  • Assisting with targeting and approaching new clients
  • Creation of pitch documents and marketing materials
  • Transaction structuring and commercial negotiation

Requirements:

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 4-6 years in corporate finance, M&A/investment banking, or consulting services

Education:

  • MBA Finance or Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of financial statements and their interlinkages
  • Strong business writing skills
  • Good understanding of capital markets
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent proficiency in written and verbal communication skills - English and German (mandatory)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (specifically, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint)
  • Command in using research databases such as S&P Capital IQ, MergerMarket, Pitchbook, Fame, Orbis, among others
