Ecommerce Leadership Role

Job Overview:

We seek a highly skilled Ecommerce leader to drive business growth, optimize operations, and elevate customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional strategic thinking, analytical prowess, and leadership abilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies across various channels, including D2C, marketplaces, and offline platforms.
  • Define product-market fit by localizing hero SKUs, crafting new-product roadmaps, and discontinuing low ROI lines.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to adapt formulations for regional regulations and sensorial preferences.
  • Leverage 360° marketing—performance, influencer, CRM, PR—to allocate budgets for maximum return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Establish data pipelines and dashboards to track cohorts, repeat rates, and marketplace rankings in real-time.
  • Negotiate with third-party logistics providers, payment partners, and duty consultants to optimize landed costs and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Recruit, mentor, and performance-manage cross-functional teams, including growth, operations, customer success, retail, and trade.
  • Champion customer obsession by mining VOC insights to inform product updates and customer experience enhancements.
  • Foster strategic partnerships with wellness chains, tourism boards, and Ayurveda clinics to expand reach.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and tax requirements, including cosmetics claims, import duties, and GDPR-like mandates.
  • Present quarterly business reviews to global leadership, highlighting wins, risks, and future opportunities.
  • Cultivate a test-and-learn culture by running A/B tests on funnels, creatives, bundles, and pricing levers.
  • Establish disaster-recovery and continuity plans for supply, logistics, ads, and key seller accounts.
  • Benchmark competition to deliver actionable intelligence on pricing, share-of-voice, and shelf velocity.
  • Represent the brand as a cultural ambassador, embodying its ethos while driving high-performance execution.
