Aerospace Structural Design Engineer

We are a pioneering deep tech organization specializing in the development of innovative aero engines and turbines for defense and energy applications.
Job Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth structural analysis of aero engine components and engage in rapid design iterations as part of a fast-paced team environment.
- Perform calculations and analysis for loads, static and dynamic stresses, fatigue & creep to ensure optimal performance.
- Rapidly develop critical hot section components through iterative design and hardware testing to drive innovation.
- Collaborate with other team members to account for interdependencies on other components and foster a culture of open communication.
- Carry out modal analysis of rotary components to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in conducting vibration experiments, analyzing data, and providing valuable insights to inform decision-making.
- Work closely with propulsion, aerodynamicists, and material engineers to optimize designs for high-temperature and high-stress environments.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of aero engines and critical parts.
- Possess a bachelor's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering, with a master's degree preferred.
- Hold 2-3 years of experience in structural design and analysis.
- Exhibit proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus).
- Show expertise in first principles based analytical calculations and modeling.
- Have knowledge of heat treatment processes, standards, and best practices.
- Be familiar with materials/super alloys for high-temperature conditions.
