**Job Opportunity: Leadership Position in Higher Education Sector**

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our initiatives in the higher education sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the landscape, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop thought leadership papers, reports, and articles on key topics in higher education
  • Interface with regulatory bodies, government agencies, and other relevant organizations to proactively engage in policy development
  • Establish strategic partnerships with university leaders, multilateral organizations, and other important stakeholders
  • Conduct committee meetings, develop agendas, prepare minutes, and identify task forces to address specific sectoral issues
  • Work with task forces to develop papers and execute bespoke projects
  • Mobilize new members and manage membership engagement/activities
  • Organize and manage the annual global FICCI Higher Education Summit, including designing conference programs, identifying national and international partners, and managing masterclasses/workshops
  • Generate revenue for the organization through sponsorship, delegate participation, and social media branding
  • Coordinate with speakers and delegate mobilization, and develop post-show reports
  • Identify and execute projects in industry-academia engagement, reconnect with NKFH partners, and initiate activities based on the NKFH framework
  • Engage with World Bank and other global agencies to explore joint projects
  • Identify and explore projects of mutual interest with Central govt agencies/state governments

Requirements:

  • Comprehensive understanding of higher education landscape
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to interface with regulatory bodies, government agencies, and other relevant organizations
  • Strong research and analysis skills
  • Experience in project management and event organization
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Forms, Teams)
