About the Opportunity

The Property Management team at Target is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Property Management Specialist. This role requires a strong understanding of building design, drawings, and US building codes. The ideal candidate will have a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and 4-5 years of experience managing building design and drawings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage program strategy and project management for property assets at Target stores.
  • Lead asset management teams with preventative maintenance programs across Target stores.
  • Leverage technical acumen to ensure Target stores are running as per defined operational guidelines using Target-managed platforms.
  • Coordinate with program owners and business services teams to ensure accurate data is maintained across multiple platforms.
  • Effectively coordinate with external vendors to manage data points for property assets.
  • Take leadership in driving contract management for assigned properties.
  • Train team members and help develop effective backup procedures.
  • Drive quality checks for key processes to ensure flawless delivery.
  • Build strong partnerships with internal teams and HQ partners to drive problem-solving initiatives.
  • Drive continuous process improvements by leveraging technology and implementing new ideas.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience managing building design and drawings.
  • Expertise in CAD platforms such as Revit/MicroStation.
  • Strong leadership skills in program and project management.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal/written) with the ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external partners.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new platforms/applications as required by business.
  • Ability to work under pressure and support business as required.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity.
  • Passion for emerging technologies, a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Positive attitude and ability to effectively work as one team.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal direction.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Target offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
