Product Transformation Specialist Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Product Transformation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming product design and quality requirements into manufacturing inputs with new and/or existing OEM partners.

  • The ideal candidate will interpret and maintain engineering drawings/documents to ensure smooth translation into procurement and production requirements.
  • They will create and maintain assembly documentation, such as SOPs and APBs, to support the production process.
  • A key responsibility of this role is to coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage Engineering Change Management (ECM), implement changes in production, and drive timely closure.
  • The successful candidate will prepare, update, and manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) for all products and create part numbers for components in BOM.
  • Monitoring End-of-Life (EOL) status of products and planning accordingly is also a critical task.
  • Tracking and managing obsolescence of components, particularly electrical items, and proactively alerting the engineering team when required is essential.
  • This role involves coordinating development projects status from prototype to mass production phases within Acsys and with OEM-partner.
  • The Product Transformation Specialist will verify and ensure all NPI specifics information/documents are released JIRA/Confluence.
  • Managing data integrity within Jira/Confluence and making it available to OEM-partner is crucial.
  • This role supports and participates in ISO audits, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • The successful candidate will lead pilot builds, quickly resolve issues, and establish repeatable processes for production scaling.
  • Collaboration with product, design, supply chain, vendor, and manufacturing teams is necessary to ensure on-time and seamless product launches.
  • Built strong partnerships with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and cross-functional stakeholders is essential.
Requirements:
  1. 5+ years of experience in NPI / Manufacturing / Program Management
  2. Strong knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing processes, and quality standards
  3. Proven experience working with vendors, contract manufacturers, and cross-functional teams

Education: B.E. in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Production Engineering
