DevOps & Security Lead

We are seeking a skilled and strategic leader to oversee our infrastructure, DevOps practices, and cybersecurity posture. This role combines deep technical expertise with a strong security mindset to ensure high availability, scalability, and security across cloud-based environments.

The ideal candidate will drive automation, enforce security best practices, and lead a team to support modern, secure, and resilient software development and operations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Leading the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable deployments.
  • Managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Monitoring infrastructure performance, cost, and availability to ensure 99.9%+ uptime.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Developing and enforcing security policies, standards, and procedures across infrastructure and applications.
  • Conducting regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
  • Managing IAM, secrets management, network segmentation, and secure configurations.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).

Candidate Qualifications:

  • 7-12 years of experience in DevOps, Security Engineering, or related fields, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Deep expertise in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Strong background in infrastructure security, including IAM, WAFs, and secrets management.
  • Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
  • Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
