As a key member of the Automated Driving Systems (ADS) team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of the next generation of ADS systems. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the design and implementation of software solutions that meet the requirements of the ADS system. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components and meeting the rigorous safety and reliability standards required for automotive applications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake a variety of tasks and be able to work in a multiple disciplinary environment to mentor junior SW engineers and to clearly communicate findings through presentations and reporting.
  • Understand the requirements and come up with high-level design and decompose them into detailed design.
  • Mentoring junior software developers on design patterns, development best practices and DevOps trade-offs.
  • Ability to create a software detailed design and support their implementation in software and API interfaces required from internal teams.
  • Ability to develop complex software to satisfy design objectives.
  • Clearly understand API design for extensibility and portability of software across multiple implementations.
  • Excellent communication skills and liaise with the wider global teams within the company.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in application design and development.
  • Should have worked in a complex project owning the responsibility for low level design, implementation and validation.
  • Experienced in design and development of software solution in AUTOSAR.
  • Hands on experience in programming languages like C/C++.
  • Knowledge of Agile SW development process.
  • Hands on experience in developing systems based on various IPC mechanisms.
  • Good knowledge of Adaptive AUTOSAR based Communication and Diagnostic stack.
  • Experience in Automotive SW middleware platforms.
  • Strong understanding of software design and architectural patterns.
  • Good understanding on ISO26262.
