Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to serve as the primary liaison between EH&S business functions and IT teams. As an Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for managing EH&S-related IT projects from start to finish, ensuring that all requirements are met and solutions are effective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the single point of contact between EH&S business functions and IT teams.
  • Manage EH&S-related IT projects end-to-end, including requirement gathering, project delivery, and post-delivery support.
  • Perform thorough business analysis, translating EH&S business needs into actionable IT requirements and solutions.
  • Oversee incident, request, and release management activities for EH&S applications, ensuring stability, compliance, and usability.
  • Collaborate with global process owners to ensure alignment of local needs with global standards and best practices.
  • Coordinate enhancements, upgrades, and integrations of EH&S solutions within the enterprise landscape.
  • Monitor service performance and ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA) adherence.
  • Provide governance and compliance oversight to ensure EH&S applications meet regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10–15 years of experience in IT business partnering, business analysis, or service management.
  • Strong knowledge of EH&S processes and supporting IT systems, including SAP EH&S and Enablon platforms.
  • Experience in project management, including the entire IT project lifecycle.
  • Good understanding of ITIL practices, including incident, change, release, and problem management.
  • Hands-on experience with service and vendor management.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to bridge IT and business functions.
  • Experience working in global environments with multiple business units and process owners.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements for EH&S systems.

Preferred:

  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA EH&S or related modules.
  • ITIL, PMP, or BA certifications.
  • Experience in integrating EH&S tools with ERP and reporting platforms.
