Job Title:

Database Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Database Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, with expertise in Oracle 19c on RHEL and Windows.

  1. Install, configure, and manage Oracle database servers, ensuring timely application of security patches.
  2. Remediate vulnerabilities, optimize database performance, and implement high availability solutions.
  3. Develop and maintain ITIP Information Management Dashboards for risk analysis and project tracking.
  4. Maintain excellent relationships with cross-functional teams across regions.
  5. Ensure timely communication and follow-up with stakeholders on project delivery timelines.
  6. Analyze and troubleshoot database problems using analytical skills.
  7. Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and responsiveness.
  8. Implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity.
  9. Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment.
  10. Assist in database design, schema management, and capacity planning.
  11. Provide support for minor releases and assist in debugging application-related issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 12 years of experience in Oracle DBA, including 19c on RHEL and Windows.
  • Working experience on Cloud is desirable.
  • Experience in core DBA, RAC, and Dataguard implementation and monitoring activities.
