Project Manager- Financial Services

This position oversees IT project management office operations, ensuring effective portfolio governance and successful project execution.

The PMO manager plays a key role in critical IT initiatives, leading teams of project managers and coordinators to achieve strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing IT portfolio processes, including planning, governance, methodology frameworks, and resource capacity management.
  • Ensuring project management standards are applied across the IT project portfolio.
  • Mentoring and supervising the project management team to drive success.
  • Creating staffing plans for internal and external resources to meet project demands.
  • Analyzing project proposals to determine timelines, funding requirements, and necessary processes.
  • Fostering leadership and motivation among project teams through all project phases.
  • Implementing effective project communication and managing project risks to ensure project delivery.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with expertise in agile frameworks.
  • Minimum 7+ years' experience in project management of complex IT projects.
  • Proven track record of managing an IT portfolio or PMO with deep understanding of project management principles.
