Job Title: Enterprise Risk Specialist

As a key member of the risk management team, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that impact our business.

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of internal processes, systems, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate complex risk findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our business operations, including financial services, risk management, and compliance.
  • Lead the analysis of reported events and their impact on the risk environment within our organization.
  • Work closely with the risk management team to identify and prioritize control opportunities through monitoring and testing.
Requirements:
  • Hold a degree in any field or a postgraduate qualification.
  • Have strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, communication skills, stakeholder development and management skills, leadership skills, and Microsoft Office applications.
Skills, Capabilities and Attributes:
  • 5-10 years' experience in the finance industry and risk management, with a preferred understanding of shareholder services.
  • Risk management experience is essential, with specific risk types being a plus (e.g., fraud, data protection, BCP).
  • Understand risk frameworks, including key concepts such as RCSA, risk identification, risk appetite & profiling, risk metrics/KRIs, etc.
