Job Overview
Data Governance Specialist is responsible for designing and developing data governance standards, roles, and responsibilities.

This role involves participating in business process analysis and design for customers, including testing, training, and support procedures.

The Data Governance Specialist will provide architectural designs to ensure sustainability, consistency, security, maintainability, and flexibility with respect to overall systems, technical architectures within a domain or portfolio.

A key aspect of this role is working individually or in teams in all phases of projects as per requirements with a collaborative working style.

Responsibilities include making recommendations to improve process efficiency and effectiveness, providing solutions to resolve any recurring issues, and planning and managing execution of architecture migrations.

Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure systems, their vulnerabilities, and security/compliance requirements is necessary for success in this role. Experience/Ability to understand the Application Security Life cycle (Information security guidelines), manage internal and external audits related to MDM platforms are also essential skills.

Requirements
Masters level degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
7+ years experience in data governance, architecture, and system integration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
