**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced Lead Global AI Platform Engineer and Director to join our Cloud and Platform Engineering Portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the direction, establishing objectives and key results, working on the staffing and development of their chapter, and ensuring that they maximize outputs and working products.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering platform or complex technology solutions with a strong technical background, preferably in a global organization or enterprise. They will also have experience in experimenting and developing with Large Language Models (LLMs) and have a passion for cutting-edge technology and a drive to make a significant impact.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Continuously develop Chapter expertise and maintain best-in-class Gen AI Platform Chapter expertise and resources.
  • Maintain your own technical knowledge through learning and continuous improvement.
  • Develop Chapter members and the Chapter as a whole.
  • Share knowledge and expertise within and outside of the Chapter.
  • Identify resource needs throughout the organization.
  • Work in a Squad to realize its mission.

**Requirements**

  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 14+ years of relevant experience in delivering platform or complex technology solutions with a strong technical background.
  • 2+ years' experience in experimenting and developing with LLMs.
  • 1+ year of experience developing with LLMs for production use cases.
  • 8+ years of experience in leading Enterprise-scale software engineering/Platform engineering teams.
  • Passionate expert in Modern Engineering, DevOps practices - Strong understanding of CI/CD, AI/ML pipelines, and automation tools.

**Estimated Salary**: $250,000 - $350,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
